We've got to blame it on something...because not one of us,(including me) did a very good job at twisting those hoops around our waist for any length of time. It was fun though. I enjoyed hearing stories of hula hooping and youth. It seems that many of you were experts at the sport at one time! Thanks for being such good sports and showing up for your team!

I want to personally thank all of our great clients who participated in our advertising campaign this week! It's a Dead Heat!
Oh Yea...Sunshines, you did it! You caught up with the Frogs! It's Frogs 3...Sunshines 3! You came in with the answer to my question and were inspiring as you taught us all about decision making! 26 Frogs came through...and 27 Sunshines!
We had to pull one name out of the sand bucket to award a wonderful pair of walking socks. I know for a fact that this Sunshine takes walks and will love her gift! Congratulations Bobbi F. your socks await you!

On a personal note, It's been a difficult week for our family as we have grieved the loss of 4 Ridgefield High School Graduates. Our prayers and love go out to the families and close friends of these outstanding young people.

Aloha!
The clients at The Healthy Weigh had some fun today wearing something that said "Aloha." We saw everything from a petite hibiscus ring, to a couple of grass skirts! (way to go Cuppy's, you always make us smile.)
The competition was the closest it's been so far...The SUNSHINES did it again! They won by one tiny little yellow ticket! I guess they tasted what winning felt like last week and decided to go for it one more time! So it's FROGS 3 SUNSHINES 2! Can you feel the heat?
When it came time to pull out the winner of the prize this week...I reached in and pulled out Cris C.! I bet you think the prize is a trip to Hawaii...but Cris will have to see what I come up with on Tuesday. I'm out of town this weekend with my family and plan to do a little prize shopping! Congratulations Cris!
Our Visa card winner of the week is Shirley B. Wow, Shirley, that 2.2 pounds that got you on the weight loss board this week also won you $25.00 shiny dollars! Great job!

I Love a Good Picnic!
Bright colored table cloths, fresh vibrant flowers, good food, and great friends...that's what a picnic at The Healthy Weigh looked like yesterday! We served over 50 of our clients lunch or dinner in our beautiful air conditioned building. It was a time to share a meal and get to know each other a little bit better. I thought it was great! That moist, lovely chicken was grilled for you by my sweet husband, Barry. Little did I know when I asked him to grill it that he'd be cooking during record breaking heat ! If you'd like to thank him personally you could throw him an email at barrybrandenburg@yahoo.com. He'd love that!
The bigger and more important news of the day...the SUNSHINES won!!! I'm so excited for your team. I knew you could pull it off. As I counted the tickets I have to admit, I laughed and thought..."invite a Sunshine to a meal...and they'll show up" :-) I also thought..."Those Sunshines, they know how to party!" It's going to be HOT this weekend and our clients are ready with water bottles in hand! 65 of you showed up on Thursday with your water bottle...FROGS, you did it again. You beat out the Sunshines by 3 bottles! Sunshines...I know you have what it takes to come from behind and win this thing...you've got 7 weeks to go!
We had a great day as we looked at some of the "miracle foods" of the 21st century in our REFRESH class. Education and motivation is extreme at The Healthy Weigh this summer! Glenda followed up with her emotional eating class and continued to help clients see more about why and when they eat.
